We are an independent studio specializing in architectural and urban space lighting.

Our multidisciplinary team shares a passion for lighting, architecture, and design. For us, each lighting project is unique, creative, and functional, which drives our full commitment to every project.

Light influences our perception of the world; it has the power to define and transform spaces. That is why we analyze its needs and uses, optimizing artificial and natural light alongside materials, colors, and textures. In short, we create new experiences in the spaces we work on—this is our best introduction.

FRANCISCA GARCÍA MITJANS

Anyone who works with her quickly notices her excellent communication and management skills. Being practical and honest is her personal trademark. Since childhood, her greatest passion has been lights—she loved playing with them to create ambiance at family events. 

 

She studied Industrial Design and completed a postgraduate degree in Business Administration. Later, she moved to Madrid to pursue a Master’s in Architectural Lighting Design at the Polytechnic University of Madrid. She always knew her path was in lighting. That’s how Lumínica Proyectos was born—together with her friend and business partner, Fabiana— a studio that has grown with passion and professionalism from the very beginning. 

 

For those who want to know more about her, she loves her family, friends, the sound of rain, the sea, and has a special fondness for French cheeses. If she had to choose one place in the world, it would be her lifelong beach, Maitencillo, or a hidden corner in the south of her beloved Chile.

FABIANA RODRÍGUEZ NENARTAVICIUTE

With Spanish roots, she spent much of her life in Brazil. During her university years studying Architecture and Urbanism, she developed a keen eye for light and its ability to transform spaces. Moving to Madrid was a turning point, confirming that light would define her path as an architect. At the Polytechnic University of Madrid, she pursued a Master’s in Architectural Lighting Design, where she met her business partner and friend, Francisca. Together, they founded Lumínica Proyectos, a studio born from their shared passion for lighting. 

 

Fabiana is the person every team wants to have in moments of high stress. Her ability to stay calm and convey tranquility makes her a cornerstone in any situation. Her curious spirit drives her to continuous learning, resulting in a versatility that defines her professional approach. 

 

If there’s something else that defines her, it’s her love for music, which is always with her, and her weakness for chocolate—an essential pleasure in her daily life.

Cualquiera que trabaje con ella rápidamente se da cuenta de su gran capacidad de comunicación y gestión. Ser prácticos y honestos es su marca personal. Desde pequeña su gran pasión eran las luces, le encantaba jugar con ellas dando ambiente en los eventos familiares. Estudió Diseño Industrial y un postgrado en Administración de Empresas, posteriormente se trasladó a Madrid donde estudió el Máster en Diseño de Iluminación arquitectónica en la Universidad Politécnica de Madrid. Lo tenía claro, lo suyo era la luz, fundó Lumínica Proyectos junto a su amiga y socia Fabiana, como todo aquello que se hace con pasión y profesionalidad fue un éxito desde el principio. Para aquellos que queráis saber más sobre ella ama a su familia, el sonido de la lluvia, el mar y le encantan los quesos franceses. Si tuviera que decir un lugar en el mundo ese sería su playa de toda la vida Maitencillo o algún lugar del sur de su querido Chile.

De raíces españolas, vivió la mayor parte de su vida en Brasil. En sus años universitarios de Arquitectura y Urbanismo aprendió a observar los lugares a través de la luz, le fascinaba la manera en que transformaba los espacios. Su traslado a Madrid fue clave para darse cuenta de que la luz marcaría su trayectoria como arquitecta. Estudió en la Universidad Politécnica de Madrid el Máster en Diseño de Iluminación Arquitectónica donde conoció a su socia y amiga Francisca, junto a la cual fundó Lumínica Proyectos. Fabiana es la persona que todo equipo querría para manejar los momentos de mayor estrés, siempre mantiene la calma y es capaz de transmitir tranquilidad a todos, su capacidad social y de cooperación es de admirar. Otra de sus cualidades es la curiosidad que la mantiene en constante aprendizaje, lo que hace que la versatilidad sea parte de su firma profesional. Si hay algo más que saber de ella, es que posiblemente la encuentres escuchando música, otro de los elementos indispensables para su vida junto con su amor por el chocolate.

The attention to detail in her projects is also reflected in her love for creating small pieces of jewelry.

He is a telecommunications engineer with a passion for anything related to technology and innovation. His mind never stops until he finds something to develop. From strawberry cultivation to building clusters, to web applications, it doesn't matter the field—what he loves is creating and building.
